Pep Bands
From packed arenas to postseason tournaments, UT Pep Bands bring the sound and spirit of Tennessee to athletic events throughout the year.
Football Pep Bands
Pride Beyond the Field. Membership in the football pep bands is reserved for students in the Pride of the Southland Marching Band. The Orange and White Pep Bands extend the reach of Pride beyond Neyland Stadium, performing at pep rallies, televised events, away game rallies, bowl appearances, and additional spirit events throughout the season.
Basketball Pep Band
Soundtrack of the Arena. During basketball season, students can audition for the Men’s Basketball Band or the Lady Vols’ Basketball Band. These groups perform at home games and travel to SEC and NCAA Tournaments, delivering high-energy performances that fuel the game day atmosphere.
Volleyball Pep Band
Close to the Action. The Volleyball Pep Band is a select 15-member ensemble that performs at all home matches in the fall semester. Positioned close to the court, this group plays an active role in creating an exciting and engaging environment for fans and players alike.
