The Crescendo Living and Learning Community

The Crescendo Living and Learning Community is a special housing area for music majors and minors. Residence in this community is not required for freshmen enrollment in the Natalie L. Haslam College of Music.

If you choose to live in the Crescendo LLC, you’ll live on the same residence hall floor with other music students! The opportunity to live with other music students makes it easy to form study groups, help each other with assignments and projects, and walk to and from concerts and events together. In addition to having a practice room in the building, there will be a study room and a tutor available at least once a week to help you with your academic music classes (i.e., music theory, ear training, and musicology). You can participate in all of the programs available to other residence hall students as well as events just for music students. The Crescendo LLC is the perfect place for you to make lifelong friendships!
