Stephen Cox
Lecturer of Music Business
With more than 20 years in the music and entertainment industries, Professor Cox is an award-winning composer and educator specializing in sound design, composition, and audio post-production for television, film, and games.
Professor Cox teaches courses in music business such as Music Supervision in Media (Fall) and Project in Music Supervision (Spring)

Evie Andrus
Lecturer of Strings & Musicology
A lifelong fiddler and co-founder of the East Tennessee Bluegrass Association, Professor Andrus has performed widely, from the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud to HBO’s The Outsiders, and is an active educator across bluegrass, folk, and eclectic string traditions.
Professor Andrus teaches UT Appalachian Strings Beginner and Intermediate Band Classes, and she codirects UT Appalachian Strings with Sean McCollough.

Dario Martin
Teaching Assistant Professor of Piano
Havana-born pianist Professor Martin is a dynamic soloist and collaborator who has earned first prizes in major competitions across Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico, and the United States. His career spans solo, chamber, and collaborative performance.
Professor Martin teaches piano lessons, studio class, and courses in piano literature and pedagogy
