Bass Day
Bass Day is open to students and professionals. UT Bass Day features master classes, bass choir performance, and a special closing concert.
Brass Day
Brass Day is an inspiring workshop designed for high school and collegiate musicians. Highlights include captivating performances by our renowned brass faculty, faculty-led warm-up sessions tailored to each instrument, and a masterclass and recital.
Conducting Workshop
The UT Conducting Workshop is a fulfilling day of collaborative music making, personal growth, and friendship.
Contemporary Music Festival
The UT Contemporary Music Festival celebrates contemporary music through concerts of new music, workshops, and paper presentations each spring. It welcomes guest performers, scholars, and composers from around the world. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend the various events!
Double Reed Day
Calling students of all ages passionate about the oboe and the bassoon, the Double Reed Day features performances, reed making, masterclasses, and community building.
Jazz Summit
The UT Rocky Top Jazz Summit is an exciting one-day jazz intensive for high school students hosted by the UT Jazz Faculty. Students learn the basics of jazz improvisation, get helpful insight into playing your specific instrument in masterclasses, and jam with other students from around the region.
Knoxville International Piano Festival & Competition
Open to students and professionals, the Knoxville International Piano Festival & Competition includes showcase concerts, lectures, competitions, and masterclasses.

Suzuki Training
As part of the Tennessee Cello Workshop, Suzuki Training is a one-day program designed for beginning through intermediate Suzuki trained cellists ages 3 to 10.
Tennessee Cello Workshop
The Tennessee Cello Workshop (TCW) is a three-day exploration and celebration of cello playing and music making. The TCW encourages cellists of any age and proficiency level to participate.
Ursus String Camp
The UT Ursus String Camp offers a one-week advanced precollege program for advanced violinists, violists, and cellists, aged 12-18, on the beautiful University of Tennessee, Knoxville campus each June.
UT Percussion Festival
The UT Percussion Festival offers the opportunity for students and band directors to be immersed in the art of percussion for an entire weekend of learning and discovery.

Vols Flute Fest
The Vols Flute Fest welcomes students, teachers, amateur and professional flutists for this two-day event. Vols Flute Fest features masterclasses, presentations, flute choir reading sessions, chamber music coachings, concerts and recitals.
Pipe Organ Encounter Day
Open to students ages 8 – 18, the UT Pipe Organ Encounter Day is an exciting day dedicated to discovering and playing the “King of Instruments” at the Natalie L. Haslam College of Music.
