UT Contemporary Music Festival
March 1 – 2, 2027
The University of Tennessee’s Natalie L. Haslam College of Music’s annual Contemporary Music Festival invites audiences to experience today’s most innovative music. Each spring, the festival transforms campus into a hub of bold ideas, boundary-pushing sound, and creative exploration through concerts of new music, engaging workshops, and thought-provoking discussions.
Open to music lovers and the curious alike, the festival brings together visionary performers, scholars, and composers from around the world, offering a rare opportunity to hear cutting-edge works and witness the creative process up close.
This year, we are thrilled to welcome acclaimed guest composer Tanner Porter, whose work exemplifies the innovation and imagination at the heart of the festival.
