Program Overview

The Music, BA is a dynamic, customizable degree for students who want to study music in a broader academic and creative context. You’ll build a strong foundation in music theory, aural skills, and music history –  then dive into courses that explore how music intersects with journalism, business, advertising, or cultural studies. 

This degree encourages curiosity and cross-disciplinary exploration. Many BA students pair music with another major or minor or pursue internships that give them hands-on experience in the field. Rather than focusing on performance alone, this program prepares you to think critically, communicate effectively, and adapt creatively — key skills in a fast-evolving music and media landscape.

No audition is required for admission to the Bachelor of Arts in Music – just an interview, making the program accessible to passionate and curious students from all backgrounds. With five distinct concentrations to choose from, you can tailor your studies to align with your unique career interests.
