Students can pursue either a Bachelor of Music (BM) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, each with a variety of specialized concentrations. The Bachelor of Music (BM) is a professional degree designed for students pursuing advanced training in music performance, education, composition, theory, or jazz. Music minors are open to all UT undergraduate students, and only one minor (Applied Music) requires an audition.
