Hire a Musician or Ensemble

Thank you for your interest in hiring our student-artists for your event. Our student ensembles have experience performing at many different types of events and venues. From dinner music to weddings, UT students can provide you with music of the highest caliber to help make your event a success. Below you will find information regarding our hiring process as well as a request form.

Please check the following before filling the request form:

  • Is your request at least three weeks before your event?
  • Is your request within the current academic year (e.g., Fall 2024-Spring 2025, Fall 2025-Spring 2026)?
  • Does your event date fall outside of the summer season? We will not be able to accommodate events between May 20 – August 20

Requested Instrument(s) or Ensemble

  • Woodwinds
  • Other

Rates

Rates vary, with a one-hour minimum.

A solo instrumentalist providing background classical could range from 100-150 an hour.

Piano Request

The instrument must be provided and tuned.

Cancellation

Once confirmed, the event must be cancelled at least 10 days prior or a 50% of charge will be applied.
