Whether you’re hosting a corporate dinner, planning a wedding, organizing a campus celebration, or looking to elevate a community event, the talented student musicians of the UT Natalie L. Haslam College of Music can help make it unforgettable.
How It Works
Our student-artists have experience performing in a wide range of settings, from formal concerts to background music for private receptions. We offer soloists and ensembles in a variety of styles, including classical, jazz, and contemporary.
Before submitting a request, please make sure the following criteria are met:
- Your request is submitted at least three weeks in advance of the event
- The performance will take place within the fall and spring semesters
- The event is not scheduled during the summer (we are unable to accommodate requests between May 20–August 20)
Available Musicians & Ensembles
You can request a soloist or group from the following areas:
- Brass
- Jazz
- Organ
- Percussion
- Piano (instrument must be provided and tuned)
- Strings
- Voice
- Woodwinds
- Other (please specify in your request)
Rates & Logistics
- All bookings require a one-hour minimum
- Rates vary by type of ensemble and event, but generally range from $100–$150/hour for soloists
- Additional charges may apply for travel or equipment needs
- All pianos must be provided and tuned in advance
- Once a booking is confirmed, cancellations must be communicated as soon as possible. If you cancel within 10 days of your event, a 50% of charge will be applied.
