Executive Assistant to the Founding Dean
Biography
Lisa Bonds is the Executive Assistant to the Founding Dean of the Natalie L. Haslam College of Music. With nearly two decades of service to the University of Tennessee, including nine years within the College of Music, she brings deep institutional knowledge and a steady, supportive presence to the Dean’s Office.
Lisa provides high-level executive and strategic support, managing complex scheduling, coordinating college-wide initiatives, and serving as a key point of connection for faculty, staff, students, alumni, and external partners. She draws on extensive experience in administration, event planning, and travel logistics, along with prior experience in office management, faculty affairs, human resources, and financial processes, to support the administrative and strategic work of the Dean and the College community.
Known for her professionalism and collaborative spirit, Lisa helps foster a welcoming and organized environment within the College. She takes pride in supporting its mission of excellence in music education and performance.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys listening to music, watching movies, relaxing at the beach, and spending quality time with her family.
